Connecting Gong to Contour
Contour's Gong integration automatically syncs your call data and conversation intelligence into your Contour knowledge base, giving your team searchable context from every customer interaction.
Prerequisites
- You must be a Gong technical administrator to authorize the connection
- You must have an active Contour account
How to connect
- In Contour, go to Settings → Integrations
- Click Connect next to Gong
- You'll be redirected to Gong to authorize the connection
- Review the requested permissions and click Allow
- You'll be redirected back to Contour — your Gong data will begin syncing automatically
What data Contour accesses
- Basic call data including title, duration, and spoken language
- Extended call data including interaction stats, speaker list, and main topics of conversation
- Call transcripts with speaker attribution
- User data including name, ID, and contact information
- CRM-associated call data linking calls to deals and accounts
Contour does not modify any data in your Gong account. Access is read-only.
Syncing
After the initial connection, Contour will perform a historical sync of your existing calls. New calls will sync automatically going forward.
